Chloe is a very special cat who suffers from hind ʟɪᴍʙ ᴘᴀʀᴀʟʏsɪs. Though the odds were stacked against her, she never allowed her ᴅɪsᴀʙɪʟɪᴛʏ to dull her shine!Hannah Shaw who has dedicated her life to fostering kittens of all kinds. Chloe a tiny cat met Hannah at a local animal shelter when she was there to pick up a new litter of bottle babies to foster. While she was visiting, the shelter staff informed her of a new kitten that had just been brought in. They informed her of the unfortunate fact that her back legs did not work, and that she was unable to walk. She knew she had to help, no one could help her.

She had never fostered a ᴘᴀʀᴀʟʏᴢᴇᴅ kitten before and was uncertain of the road ahead of them. One thing she did know, with love and thoughtful care, she believes she will ʜᴇᴀʟ this little cat.

Find any way to get her moving. She gave her a yoga mat to crawl around on, and a box to slide in, and a little crown, because she is a tiny kitten princess. Through my fog of second-hand (third-hand?) grief, “I convinced myself that, even with her physical limitations and ᴛʀᴀᴜᴍᴀᴛɪᴄ history, Chloe might still be able to have a rich, full feline life.” Hannah said

And Kitten Lady wasn’t giving up. She took Chloe to four different specialists and put her on a barrage of medications and alternate therapies, including cold-laser therapy, red-light laser therapy, NSAIDs, PT, Prazosin, ᴀᴄᴜᴘᴜɴᴄᴛᴜʀᴇ, and Assisi Loop therapy.And then, suddenly: a miracle. Chloe’s first ᴀᴄᴜᴘᴜɴᴄᴛᴜʀᴇ experience exceeded our wildest expectations, She began to kick her legs, move her tail and stand up.

Hannah reached out to a 3D printing engineer that would help in building Chloe her very own custom wheelchair. The wheelchair was incredible. It was created just for Chloe’s tiny little body. Everyone hoped that this would be a life changing moment for Chloe . What everyone had hoped would be her ticket to liberation, actually held her back even more than before. From here her life changed better. She can run around her house funny and happier.
