Christina lives in Oklahoma with three handsome kids. However, her youngest boy, Madden, was ᴜɴFᴏʀᴛᴜɴᴀᴛᴇʟʏ ʙᴏʀɴ ᴡɪᴛʜ ʙᴏᴛʜ ᴄʟᴇFᴛ ʟɪᴘ ᴀɴᴅ ᴄᴏᴍᴘʟᴇᴛᴇ ʜᴇᴛᴇʀᴏᴄʜʀᴏᴍɪᴀ ɪʀɪᴅᴜᴍ. Hᴇᴛᴇʀᴏᴄʜʀᴏᴍɪᴀ ɪʀɪᴅᴜᴍ is when a part of the ɪʀɪs has at least two colors. Complete ʜᴇᴛᴇʀᴏᴄʜʀᴏᴍɪᴀ ɪʀɪᴅᴜᴍ, where the eyes are complete different colors all together, is quite ʀᴀʀᴇ, existing in less than 1% of the population. That plus the ᴄʟᴇFᴛ ʟɪᴘs, is exceptionally ʀᴀʀᴇ.However, due to his ᴄᴏɴᴅɪᴛɪᴏɴ, Madden has had a ᴘʀᴇᴛᴛʏ ʜᴀʀsʜ ʟɪFᴇ. He is constantly being ʙᴜʟʟɪᴇᴅ by other kids and it’s breaking his spirit. According to statistics, 7 out of 10 kids have reported ʙᴜʟʟʏɪɴɢ in their schools, while 4 out of 10 are seeing ʙᴜʟʟʏɪɴɢ at least once a week. Madden’s mom found a picture of Moon on a Facebook group for children with Madden’s ᴄᴏɴᴅɪᴛɪᴏɴ. As soon as she saw the kitty, she knew that she needed to bring him home.Christina (Madden’s mom) found a few friends willing to help. They drove from Oklahoma all the way up to Minnesota in order to pick up Moon. Here’s what she wrote on Facebook a few days ago:“In case you ᴍɪssᴇᴅ it, these handsome boys were both born with ᴄʟᴇFᴛ ʟɪᴘs and complete ʜᴇᴛᴇʀᴏᴄʜʀᴏᴍɪᴀ ɪʀɪᴅɪᴜᴍ (different colored eyes), and we knew they were destined to be best friends.”Christina says that she’s amazed at how great everything went. “Fate willed them together,” she says. “There’s just no other explanation.”
